2012 – 2013
The Twritten Word is centered on a central question: if The Library of Congress is recording all of our tweets for all posterity, what would they look like in the traditional "hard copy" form? Conceived as a collaborative book project, each book was mailed to a participant with the following directions: use these books as you would any social media account, whether writing "tweets" or doodling "selfies" or anything in between. Originally shown as part of my undergraduate thesis project, The Twritten Word was expanded and re-shown in August 2012 at the Harrison Center for the Arts, Indianapolis, IN.
