i love you darlin', but you'll tear me apart

In many ways, i love you darlin', but you'll tear me apart is a simple project: a poem, interjected with sound properties, that translate my experience and relationship with my home region of south-central Indiana into a spoken-word sound experience. This particular installation of i love you darlin', but you'll tear me apart was installed as part of the The Meeting Waters, the 2015 MCAD MFA Fall Exhibition held in August 2015; as such, it was designed to be a single-user minimal listening experience with headphones and a column to hide tech. Multiple formats are presently being explored for installation, including but not limited to podcasting and ambient space installation.
